Framed Big Sur 24x36" Fine Art Print

How is it already August?! July was somehow simultaneously very slow and fast fast paced at the same time. I spent so much time with my family and friends, at the river cooling off from the hot summer sun, sharing my work at the Banff Market, celebrating my birthday and sharing a print sale with you. Thank you so much for all of your support last month! I love sharing my work with you in so many different ways.

I had my best market in Banff last week, which I was so grateful for. Markets require a lot of energy from me in the prep work, travel, setup, and a lot of talking, which can often be difficult for this awkward introvert. I always appreciate when my work connects with you and my hard work pays off because it can often be a risk.

For August, I am craving some adventure and possibly a quick holiday before my children start school again and I get back to a dedicated work schedule. I'd even settle for a few trips to find some beautiful reference photos that I've been meaning to capture for years. This can often be a little precarious, finding the best spot to pull over on the side of the road, but it's always worth it, no matter how crazy I look.

“Through Winding Roads”

Jasper National Park has been on my heart lately, as it has everyone in Alberta. The devastating wildfires of last month destroyed so much beauty, and property. A historic town loved by so many struck down by unimaginable tragedy. My heart goes out to those who lost homes, businesses, and livelihoods because of the raging wildfires.

Jasper is such a beautiful, vast, untouched landscape with majestic, towering peaks, glaciers, and waterfalls. It holds so much beauty! Nature is resilient and restorative. It has the capacity to regrow, renew, and emerge in perfect majesty. This is all a part of the wondrous cycle of nature. I have no doubt Jasper will be absolutely stunning once again.

"Through Winding Roads" was created last summer, inspired by Sunwapta Falls in Jasper National Park. It is made to express the rush of feeling as you stand next to an extremely powerful waterfall with the spray misting your face, laughter from pure joy!

“Spirit Island”

I must feature another piece from Jasper National Park. I painted this print in 2020, and it remains one of my absolute favourite works of art in my creations. The colours, reflections, and atmosphere all hold a very special feeling that adds vibrant life to your home. This scene holds so much beauty, it's no wonder it's one of the most photographed places on earth.

Art has a way of capturing a place in time, offering reverence to nature's beauty, and bringing nature's abundant peace and calm into your personal sanctuary.

Thank you for continuing to support my dream!
