Mountain Sketches
A collection of 7 original gouache paintings that were never meant to see the light of day, inspired by the serenity of the
Canadian Rocky Mountains.
What began as small sketches, that I promised myself would never be sold, became beautiful framed originals. Like vintage postcards sent from time spent in the Canadian Rockies, these gouache paintings hold a sense of nostalgia that can only be found in the magic of the mountains.

These small paintings have been such a joy to create! I've spent quiet time in the studio painting these little gouache studies over the last year. Returning to them when I've felt inspired and awe-struck by a visit to the mountains and a particularly beautiful view. Never feeling rushed to create an entire collection. These sketches make the most precious keepsakes.

“Rocky Mountain Shelter” Original Painting
Just as our homes are a vibrant vessel of our most precious memories, I want you to be able to fill your home with a collection of meaningful things that allow us to create our own personal sanctuary. We need unique homes with individuality where a feeling of your own personality and lived experience can shine. A place where the people you love can feel a peaceful rest as soon as they enter the doors.

Framed Mountain Sketches
If you find peace and rest in the mountains, this collection will add a sense of calm and serenity to your home like a breath of fresh air.
Each of these were painted slowly and restfully through play and experimentation, as each painting emerged layer by washy layer, through gestural brushstrokes in gouache.
They each capture the unique beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in different times and seasons.
The touch of the artist is left in every brushstroke, every perfect imperfection, texture and colour. There is something so special about collecting art directly from the artist.

Thank you so much for all of the kind ways you support me, my family, and my work. It is because of your support that I am able to create a life filled with meaning and purpose.
It's difficult to know how to sensitively run a heart-centred small business in our very connected world. As one person, I can't do much to change the circumstances of those who are suffering, but I do believe in the healing power of art and creativity. I think these ever-occurring tragedies are a reminder to us that we need to take care of ourselves and each other, to fill our days with joy, and to create a home that is a safe space from the outside world.
It would be an honour to send you a part of my creative work.
